YOUR ROLE
- Manage, coach and develop the planning team (around 9 people) for Henkel Consumer Brands
- Manage weekly supply chain planning to meet customer requests while optimizing stocks
- Balance production schedules and quantities based on sales forecasts
- Ensure optimized material supply & supplier (relationship) management
- Set targets, monitor and steer inventory levels of all planning areas of his/her team
- Continuously search for new process improvement and/or drive the implementation with demand planners, production plants as well as suppliers
- Provide input to Head of Planning concerning future planning strategies and major system or process improvements
- Assure compliance with legal and Henkel SHEQ requirements in the area of responsibility
YOUR SKILLS
- Master’s degree in the field of business administration or engineering with a focus on supply chain
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in the area of supply chain planning
- Strong leadership and team management skills, preferably with experience
- Extensive system (SAP/APO or similar) and planning process knowledge, experience with next generation planning tools is a plus
- Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PPT)
- Open and flexible mindset with can-do attitude and willingness to drive change
- Excellent communication and (senior) stakeholder management skills in multicultural environment
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving attitude
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German or further language skills is a plus
